		<description>
This is a development site put together by Ian Moore of Perth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perth%2C_Western_Australia), [[Western Australia]], to try to get a handle on the development of a website using [[Joomla]] a Content Management System (CMS) and linking to [[Moodle]] is an [[open
source]], [[e-learning]] platform
(also known as a Course Management System (CMS) or Virtual Learning
Environment (VLE)). Both these open source programs written in PHP. If you click on the item in the main menu - Event Log - you can follow my progress. It is not connected in any way with an Australian TAFE College and I will change the domain name if this exercise ever progresses to a commercial level.

Over the forthcoming months I will endeavour to develop one or two Units of Competence to some detail using Moodle, plus use this site as a repository of useful links into VTE relevant sites, products, courses etc. If you click on the item in the main menu - Moodle - and login as a guest you can follow my progress on the first Unit of Competence.
